Story of the Month Pictures of the Month The Winners
A Grand Final
In the first major men's event of the year, the tournament of Champions set in New York's Grand Central Station, Peter Nicol went two up before defeating Jonathon Power 3-2, moving ahead in the pair's "head to head" series.

Full set for Lee
In the UK Lee Beachill added the senior National title to his full collection of junior titles, and Sue Wright, peeved at her low seeding, went all the way to take her fourth national crown.

Super White fills up
The Esso Flanders Open went from strength to strength, and whilst a Scot was expected to win it was John White who prevailed, beating Peter Nicol in the semis and Paul Price in the final.

Sarah doesn't pay
Sarah Fitz-Gerald continued to win, on and off court, overturning a fine imposed by WISPA - well, she IS the president!

Leilani Joyce stayed top of the WISPA tree as the women's rankings moved to a monthly publication.
