Story of the Month Pictures of the Month The Winners
And it's goodbye from ...
One of the legends of squash finally called it a day. Hardly seen for two years, despite persistent rumours that the giant 'brooding in the hills of Peshawar' was set to make one final glorious comeback, Jansher Khan finally confirmed his retirement, bringing officially to an end to a glorious reign for Pakistani squash covering almost five decades.

Also retiring from the tour this month were Sabine Schoene and Sue Wright.

Sarah's still strong
The Women's tour was in North America this month - guess who did the business. No-one told the WISPA computer though.

New PSA dawn ???
The men's game seemed to be on the up, with the announcement of a $21m World Grand Prix and live TV coverage of the Super Series Finals. One happened, one didn't.

Stahl for ESF
The European Squash Federation gained a new President in Chris Stahl, succeeding Philip van der Ven.

Most of the tournaments this month could be viewed as preludes to the British Open, where Power and Joyce, retaining their #1 world rankings, were top seeded.
